The Opportunity

 

PlateRate, the latest disruptive software solution in the FoodTech market, is currently hiring sales consultants. This commission only role offers those on boarded the opportunity to increase their income by selling PlateRate to restaurant owners and managers.

 

  • How much money can you make?

    Using your free time selling PlateRate in an assigned territory we estimate you can ramp up your earnings to as much as $150,000 or more over the course of a year as an individual contributor. Let us show you how.  **

 

  • What you will be selling:

  1. PlateRate attracts more customers to restaurants and makes them more loyal and profitable for that restaurant (we’re good for restaurants)

  2. PlateRate gives customers up to a 60% credit in free food (we’re good for restaurant customers)

PlateRate is the latest disruptive software solution in the FoodTech market. It is designed and built to help our Restaurant and Hospitality customers accelerate revenue, build customer loyalty, and dramatically increase customer satisfaction.

 

Currently in the pre-release stage, we are now interviewing to build our world class sales organization by seeking independent contractors – aggressive and hungry sales professionals looking to increase their annual income via a “side hustle.”

 

For those independent sales contractors we hire, and that are successful in selling PlateRate in their assigned territories, we are offering a very generous commission only compensation plan based on revenue share.

 

Job Description

PlateRate’s sales professionals will take ownership of revenue generation, develop new opportunities, manage their pipeline, enter their data in to the corporate CRM, and close deals for PlateRate within their assigned territories.

 

Key responsibilities are:

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with restaurant owners and managers in their assigned territory (you may even get a free meal)

  • Be able to demonstrate the PlateRate solution, as needed, in meetings with restaurant owners and managers (don’t worry, it’s simple)

  • Create, forecast, and manage sales activity and pipeline to meet revenue individual targets and company goals

  • Effectively manage your time

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in B2B software sales, or equivalent experience as a Sales Development/Business Development (SDR or BDR) Representative

  • Record of meeting and exceeding targets and quotas

  • Consultative, analytical and solution sales approach with focus on building long term relationships with clients

  • Established relationships and presence in the food service or hospitality industry will be considered a plus

  • Experience with tactical sales cycles in competitive markets

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Resident in the 5 boroughs of New York
